What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a job with training, you will gain hands-on experience, learn skills and study for a nationally recognised qualification. The great thing about apprenticeships is that they are for anyone over the age of 16. Your employer will not only pay for all the training costs but you will also receive a salary, what better way to find that next career path than learning while you're earning! Apprenticeships can take from 1- 6 years to complete depending on factors such as the level of study, your prior experience and knowledge and the type of apprenticeship i.e. full or part-time.
